Looking for a group to raid with consistently - XB1
Title says it all - I need to find a group of adults that raid regularly. I started a clan when destiny first came out and then lost about half of my group.
I currently play with 1-2 guys from my old clan and it would be awesome to link up with some dudes that know the raid mechanics and play regularly. I am on usually everyday for at least an hour or 2 (depends on my gf...).
I am not trying to be lame but I am good and have a lot of the exotics in year 2 that are available. I am also down to do PvP as well - just have not found a group that likes to do multiplayer like that.
Anyway - if there are any adult guardians out there that are good and like to raid please hit me up. I am just tired of wasting time with LFG. I have no problem sherpa'ing people through the raid but not when I am trying to get things done.
Any help is appreciated.
EDIT 1: Guys - this is awesome! So far there has been about 8-10 guys expressing interest in just getting together to raid on a consistent basis.
Please remember that we can all use this specific thread to keep in touch and get raids/events going. We obviously cant have 10 dudes playing at once but keep chiming in and adding friends because we all know there will be plenty of times when you need 1,2,3 more for a raid and LFG is just a kick in the nuts. If is likely I won't be able to link up with everyone tonight but I play regularly enough that having you guys on my friends list will lead to plenty of invites to raids or just messing around doing missions etc.
EDIT 2: Hey dudes - I work pretty long days and don't get home until later...if possible please send me a friend request so that when I get home I can just accept and link up. I don't mind sending the requests out but it won't be until later on any given night.

1 ReplyGreat way to reach out! I've came across your post thinking of doing the same thing. It would be great to gather a regular group to get used to playing with. For raids and such, as well as PvP (I've had the worst luck with LFG finding a conducive team for trials). I see your already in a clan with your buddies, that's great. I'm planning on starting one up as well and then maybe we can form an alliance so members can collaborate and have a larger pool of guardians to pull from. But I digress, I thought I'd throw you my tag and you can add me as well. I'm on for a bit most nights depending on other obligations, but I have somewhat regular nights where I focus on longer tasks, such as raids. I love this game but damn the last two weeks have made me want to claw my eyes out from LFG. 311 Titan 310 Hunter 310 Lock Its not that I give a crap about going back and running normal mode to get people up to speed in a consistent team its the fact that a consistent fire team would be considerate of when the entire group can get on from week to week and understand that everyone has lives / jobs / SO's / kids and all of that that they make the effort to just knock it out as quick as humanly possible. PS: I dont need to hear your episodes of Dragonball Z going on in the background at full blast or Rammstein blaring over the call outs at Oryx. I wish I was kidding but damn man that was the extent of my raid groups last night. Ha!

3 RepliesI hear you barking guys, i've been doing hard mode since it launched couple of weeks ago. Only just defeated oryx today after many runs at the raid! LFG randoms can be quite tricky, and tiresome and there is nothing worse than people constantly leaving. So now im sitting at 312 with my hunter, i have ToM, and a reasonable cluster of weapons. I am more than happy to help anybody when im free, i work 3 12 hour night shifts, and off for 4 days of the week. Send me a message so i know who you are, or add me on xbox one and give me a shout, i will help run raid on normal/hard even if ive cleared the raid just to help people gear up. GT Is Schizostan. 1 ReplyHey there!, My two friends and I just recently started a clan and could use members. We're 3 day one players that focus on having a good time while playing the game. You won't find a competitive clan here but you will find a clan that wants to help one another, complete raids, get gear in either the iron banner or trials, help with quests, and whatever our fellow clan members may need. We're looking for experienced gaurdians for the group. We want to build a core group that will know how to work together and know the strats each week so we can get it done. However, we don't want try hards that can't work with others or gets mad if someone dies (things happen.....it's a game). When it comes to raids the three of us can't always be on 24/7 to play, we have jobs, family, etc. But I can assure you that we will be playing on Tuesday most likely around 7ish and we will complete raids. The best time after that is weekends so we're hoping to find people that can understand that and work with us as we will work with you. We're looking to run the higher tier activities so we would like gaurdians at 305 minimum (sorry for the cap but anything less is to difficult to run it) As for the other weekly activities we will be willing to assist in any way when we can. Never be afraid to ask for help that's why we're in the clan. All I ask is that you never expect to be carried through anything. If you can't run it, don't ask to do it. We are a eastern time zone clan (New York to be specific) if this sounds like something you'd like to join shoot me a message on here and we'll figure it out if you're a good fit. Quick point guys - thank you all for the support and willingness to link up in an attempt to find a good, consistent fireteam. For those in clans, I definitely appreciate all the offers but I am really looking more for a group of dudes that want to try and play consistently. I realize clans offer this but at the moment I am already in one with some close buddies. We just need to make a few acquaintances to get a good 6-man team.

I think it is also worth saying that if there are any decent dudes out there that are running solo and need guys to raid with send me a friend request. All I ask is that you be an adult and able to hold your own. I really don't care if you are not 300+ as long as you can get it done. The more people that jump on this the better - adding people to a friends list can't hurt and hopefully it will lead to a solid raid team!

I am losing my mind with LFG. Would love to find a consistent team. Same scenario here. Group of 5-6 people came in at year 1 but time zones really causing consistency issues getting raids done on a regular basis. Looking for adults who want to not waste 10 hours not getting past Warpriest without the drama and a bunch of squeakers in the process.
