I'm on Xbox One and currently looking into a wireless gaming headset for around $200. I am starting to play crucible more and more and feel that a decent headset would help me notice enemies sooner.
I'm wondering what the more seasoned players use (besides Astro's, $200 is my limit).
Edit: Figured I would summarize what I am seeing the most.
AstroA40 (some sets can be bought for under $200)
Turtle Beach XO Seven
TB XO Four
Stock headset
HyperX Cloud II
TB XO One
Based on all of the feedback I am seeing, I think I will go with the XO Sevens to save some money and get the best of all aspects.

I've been using the stealth 500x since February. I haven't had a single issue with it, sounds great, it's comfortable, and the battery life is good. I nabbed it for $199 at a Best Buy, after an Amazon price match.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money on Turtle Beaches. I've had 4 pairs and each one barley lasted over two months. I'd recommend Astros, but their pretty pricy. The Xbox brand mic is actually really good. No, not the one that comes with the console. It covers both ears and has great audio. Also, you can buy a mic adapter and use your Xbox 360 headset or your favorite pair of earphones.

I am actually using a Xbox 360 one earphone Headset with my Xbox 1, haha. I had purchased the headset adapter and I wanted to use my Beats ear buds but it didn't work. I found a new Xbox 360 Headset in my house from a past purchase and the Headset works great. Since I have a small kid, I like having the one ear bud headset. This way I can hear him or the wife if they need me for something while I am gaming. Grind on Guardians!

I'm using the astro A40's with the mix amp, best pare of headphones I've ever owned. They have a high price tag, but the audio range is incredible. When you're looking for headsets in that price range, they're all usually excellent quality. It comes down to personal preference

Astro a40's. I'll be picking up the new TR ones soon

I know you said 200 is your limit, but you should take a look at the turtle beach elite 800. It is by far the best gaming headset on the market. They are priced at 299. But believe me well worth it. I've spent months when I was looking for a gaming headset read so many reviews and in the end opted for this pair. Best money ever spent. Just give them a look.

I have been through a lot of mics. I've done the mixamp thing with hd558's, PlayStation golds, hyperions, Astros etc. My favorite headset so far are the skullcandy plyr1. It's made by astro, wireless, lightweight and lets your ears breathe. You get a switch on the side if the headset to swap game/voice auido and its 7.1 surround. It's on sale for 149$ from skullcandy :)
