We don't have to worry about the pop excommunicating people, and I'm sure that God wants everyone to be happy, as long as it does not harm anyone else. It's all in having fun, and sure you may go around shooting, but that's for a war to protect humanity from aliens following a false prophet. The multiplayer is actually just a training simulation for the players to pretend get ready for the pretend war. Don't worry, playing this game will not actually make someone violent or become drafted for the military, that's just a myth. As for Cortana, that's her choice of how she wants to appear. She actually wears cloths throughout the whole series, although it is skin tight, and is the same color as her skin (which is odd.) But seriously, this isn't the Middle Ages, you don't have to do whatever the pope tells you! (Especially if you are not catholic) I'm sure God will forgive you or your child for playing a game.
