How has he defeated almost every "strong" enemy that was clearly gonna beat his ass... Without the spirit bomb he and the whole dbz world would be over by now.

Lol dude go do your homework before you spout nonsense of things you have no clue about. Throughout the entire series from dragon Ball to dragon Ball z to dragon Ball Gt and through the countless fights he was in goku only used that technique 5 times.
