Fallen Into A Trap
"No... This can't be happening." Emilia gasped at the sight of the Fallen in the Vault Of Glass. "How could the Vex not stop them?" She looked around, backing away from the horde of Fallen.
"W-We should leave..." Maria suggested, summoning Void Light in her hands, about to cast her Ward Of Dawn. "If the Fallen are h-"
"My question is: How did they get here?" Rush looked Urksis right in his eyes, drawing his Spear. He crouched and aimed at the Kell's eyes. Finger ready to squeeze the trigger.
"Don't do that!" Emilia ran up to him, pushing the Spear off aim. The bullet zoomed to the left, penetrating the glass crystal in the back of the room. "Look, it's best if we leave, right now." She suggested, looking straight at Urksis. A hate towards the Stone.
The Kell chuckled, looking at the six Guardians in the back. The Light in them was strong, the Light of the Traveler, the Great Machine.
"Guardians..." Urksis spoke, his voice echoed in the Vault. "House Stone is your fate. Fate is sealed, yes? Awoken..." The Kell pointed his finger at Emilia. "You are next..." Rush looked at the Kell and Emilia, confused about the current situation, but he stood up for her.
"You're not touching her..." Rush said, dusting his hands off. "She's mine to look after. Lay a finger on her and you'll regret it." He finished, stowing his Spear and standing up. He jumped onto the platform, looking at the Fallen around him. They clicked lowly at the sight of Rush, his Light shined bright. He turns his attention back to Urksis.
They both stood in silence, the Fallen did not bother with the other Guardians. They look at Rush, walking up to their Kell. The Dregs clicked lowly, as if whispering to one another.
"Rush! Are you insane?!" Emilia shouted across the Glass Throne, catching his attention. She started to run towards him, but the Vandals stopped her, shock blades against her neck. She raised her hands defensively, backing away.
"Kinda." He replied lowly. "This guy? No biggie. I slew a God with his own sword. A Kell? Heh. He's just full of Ether... I think I can handle this."
"Either way, you shouldn't run up to a Kell..." Dennis spoke. "Come on back here, we came here to clear the Vault. We did our job, well most of it." Zephyr and Gizmo look at Dennis.
"He's right, you know?" Zephyr backed Dennis up. "With Time's Conflux dead, we can continue. Our job's done." Rush sighed, looking at the Kell, who had surprisingly done no harm to him, and summoned his Ghost. Maria and Zephyr sat on the stairs behind the door, Gizmo leaned on a nearby rock, waiting to go to orbit.
"Hunt, bring us to Orbit." Rush commanded his Ghost while turning his back away from the Kell. "We'll report to the Vangu-"
"You're not going anywhere..." Urksis ominously said. The door shut tight quickly behind Emilia and Dennis, leaving the other half behind. Dennis looked behind him, as he heard the others pounding on the door. Communications were cut off.
"Guys! Guys! Can you hear me?!" Dennis yelled over the private comm link. "Respond!.. No answer, damn it." Dennis faced the Kell. His hands on his Handcannon from the New Monarchy. "Codex... Help us out..." He called for his Ghost, who would always find something wrong in any place.
"Hunt, prepare for transmat." Rush said hurriedly, joining up with Dennis and Emilia.
"I can't, something is blocking it!" Hunt responded, panicking. "What is going on?!" Hunt looked around. Urksis looked down on the three Guardians.
"There is no escape... Stone has you trapped... You stay." Urksis bellowed, his laughs echoed across the Glass Throne. There was nothing the others can do. "Hehehe... Good luck." Urksis' Ketch broke the sound barrier, the cracking boom of the Ketch filled the Glass Throne.
"See you then... If I do." Urksis laughed boarding his Ketch, leaving the lesser Fallen with the trio. Hunt and Codex panicked, trying to look around for transmat signal.
"Oh, Traveler..." Codex called out, returning back to Dennis. "I can't trace the signal. There are two possibilities. One, we find the signal. And two, we find a way out."
"Well... One sounds like a better idea, but first we have to deal with the Stone." Rush inquired, drawing his Hawkmoon. Emilia and Dennis nod, drawing their respectful weapons. Emilia and her Boolean Gemini, and Dennis with his newer modeled Hand-Cannon from New Monarchy.
Dregs raised their shock pistols, ready to fire at the trio, waiting on the Vandals command. They clicked lowly, eager to pull the trigger. One Vandal signaled the others to fire, a volley of Arc flew toward the Trio. Dennis summoned his Ward Of Dawn, he had only used it in dangerous situations or messing around.
Rush moved out of Ward, quickly aligning the sights of his Handcannon to the Dreg's heads. He pulled the trigger, sending a bullet into three Dreg heads, ether sprawling out as their corpses fell to the floor.
"Three out of many..." Rush mumbled under his breath, sliding back into the Ward. "If you guys leave the Ward, be careful, alright?" Emilia and Dennis nod. Emilia raised her hand, Arc pulsating between her fingers.
"You know... Ikora taught me this neat trick called Landfall... I'm going to try it." She said, jumping out the Ward as she summons a lightning bolt, activating her Stormtrance, and firing it down on the Dregs below her. "Wow..." She gasped, gliding on the ground below her. Dregs cried out to their fallen comrades, and clicked loudly, filling the Glass Throne.
Vandals and Dregs focused on the Arc-filled Warlock, still active in her Stormtrance. Wire Rifle bolts flew past her head and shock pistol bolts barely scratched her. She shook her head, her mind-set back to reality as she threw a Storm Grenade into the crowd, sending Dregs flying. The smoke cleared, Emilia sent lightning towards the group of Dregs closing in on her. The Arc-Light faded slowly from Emilia's body.
"No, no, no. Don't discharge, don't discharge!" She exclaimed, sending more lightning towards the group of Dregs. They crowded around her, unsheathing their shock blades. She sent one more charge of Arc, discharging her Stormtrance. "I discharged." She said, jumping away from the Dregs. One of the Dregs grabbed her leg, dragging her back down to the floor. "Uhh... Help..." She scrambled to find her Boolean, her defensive weapon.
Rush ran in, charging his knife with Arc Light, landing next to Emilia as he slashed away the Dregs. "Told you." Rush chuckled slightly tossing her the Boolean Gemini. he cleared more Dregs around Emilia. "Now... Help me out here." He said, sending his Arc Blade into a Dreg's eye. She nodded and got back on her feet, readying her Scout. The Dregs clicked out for the Vandals for help. The Vandals stood there, shocked, seeing the man-slaughter going on. They had one more choice.
"Send in the Captains..." A Vandal clicked in Eliksni tongue. A skiff appeared in the Glass Throne, sending more reinforcements to help. Dennis ran towards the back of the Glass Throne, charging his fists with Arc.
"Oh... Enough is enough, screw off..." The troops landed only to be met with a Fist Of Havoc. The Arc light surged around Dennis as he stood up. The Captains survived by their shields taking the blast. The Captains readied their Shrapnel Launchers, and sent a volley of Shrapnels towards Dennis, damaging his Plasteel Plates. Vandals provided backup for the Captains, Wire Rifle bolts zoomed past Dennis as he dodged the Shrapnel blasts. "Well... There goes the armor..." He sighed placing another Ward down and sitting soon afterwards. "I need a break... Using all this Light is tiresome... That's twice I used my Ward..."
Dennis dropped his Handcannon, and lied down on the floor. His Ghost, Codex, appeared next to him, floating about.
"Assistance, Dennis?" Codex asked his Guardian. "You seem tired." Codex whirled around his Guardian and looked around. Dennis waves his Ghost off, yawning, resting on the floor. "Take your time." Codex said.

"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW?!" Gizmo yelled to the other two, who paced back and forth anxiously.
"Well... We can find another way in. It may be hard, but not impossible. No... That won't work..." Zephyr sighed, pacing back and forth faster than before.
"And we can't leave either." Maria gently said, stretching her arms. "Leave no Guardian behind..." She finished, stopping in her tracks. "What can we do?" She tapped the base of her helmet.
"There's only one thing we can do..." Gizmo spoke up, juggling his knife. "... And I haven't the slightest idea of what it is..." Zephyr and Maria groaned.
"You gotta be kidding me..." Zephyr face-palmed, sighing. "We'll just figure out a way sooner or later..."
