I got mine at 310 from an exotic engram drop after using a 3 of coins, which I bought from Xur, and even if I got it some other random way I still wouldn't feel like I earned it, I just got lucky with a random drop and that engram decided it wanted to be Zhalo, RNG requires no skill and there for what ever you randomly get as a drop wasn't earned, its like walking down the street and finding 100 bucks in the gutter, you didn't earn that 100 bucks, you just got lucky.
