This is the whole point of the economy Nerf. Why do you think Tess is back? It not just to sell you Emotes. She's back to sell consumables, you know like items that would help BOOST your chances in the Raid RNG drops. Your frustrations would push you to purchase such an item. Just you wait.

My boyfriend played WOW from first year pre-dlc. He's been making the same prediction. Micro transactions will start with cosmetic only, then they will start selling items that boost xp, gear, etc. The purchases won't be mandatory- you can choose to grind for it instead but it'll be a long, slow grind. It's what ruined WOW for him. In the end you'll start to feel like you have to make these purchases to keep up- 8 hours of grinding vs a couple of dollars and it's done. Some of us won't be surprised when we start seeing items sold by Tess that have nothing to do with ridiculous dance moves and gestures.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I mean do people really still believe anything that comes out of Luke Smith's mouth.

One thing he said is true. Some people saw the new emotes and threw their money at the screen. The very first day of "festival of the lost" I saw plenty of guardians displaying the new dances and that dumb "boo!" emote. Other than that it's all pr bullsh*t.

I agree. If Activungie would be more transparent with the future of destiny I think it would help their credibility for the future, but as long as Activungie stays shady with their intentions I feel it's only going to hurt any future titles in Destiny.

Where is did you read this? Oh wait that's right, nowhere.

Just wait. Their greed outweighs their integrity.

Just because no one has read it anywhere, doesn't mean she can't make a reasonable prediction based off of well you know, anther game Activision publishes. Keep an open mind, or I should say, don't rule out the possibility of her prediction coming true
