Exotic engram decryption broken
Is anyone else having an issue with exotic engram decryption giving you the same freakin guns over and over. Granted I just started playing this game when taken king came out but -blam!-in still. There are plenty of exotic weapons that I shouldn't get the same weapon 3 times in a row. I mean wth is with this shit. Do I need to save them and decrypt them at the same time to not get the same dam weapon over n over. I don't need 3 last words, suros regime or hawkmoons. Who wrote the rng code for decryption. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see something is broken. If it is not then I need to play the -blam!-in lottery right now because that decryption chance is -blam!-in stupid.
"Will someone from Destiny/Bungie" reply with the statistical odds of getting 3 of the same gun in a row example "Suros Regime" or just explane the loot table balance when decrypting.

Crest of alphi lupi. Mask of third man. Knuckle head radar. Impossible machine. Doesnt matter what character im on. I always get these. But at least I have all the exotic weapons. Im greatfull of that

1 ReplyHonestly the theme is that players are prone to getting certain exotics through engrams, while certain exotics are left out of their loot table drops. That's why you hear of some people getting zhalo supercell non stop but never getting a telesto. And other players will get telesto non stop but never get a supercell. (Me) My assumption is that the RNG is designed like that to keep players always chasing the dragon. If you understand the saying. Basically playing with the hopes and dreams of getting something that just isn't gonna happen. Just one more try tho. ..

Here's my list: 3x Celestial Nighthawk 4x Monte Carlo 2x Skyburner's Annex 3x Stag (Pretty sure this is accurate.) I'm personally not really getting a lot of guns but plenty of armour. The only problem is the Engram is usually for gauntlets.
