the weapon was an example of what heavys should have been, note you really cant compare the utility of a weapon against bullet sponge style bosses.
if dragons breath had tracking and a better velocity it could have been a great match for gally.
same goes for thunder lord if the darn thing had a bigger mag and less kick.
point being bungie fudged up when designing bosses and enemies that unlike other games with RPG like elements dont scale well when compared to the character.
i'd say the gally was built correctly for a HEAVY and bungie could not think of a way to make the game better to match it, all the new heavys besides the swords suck now i rarely ever use them outside of emergency situations now.....

Id say it was built correctly if you want to create one of the easiest games in existance, which is attractive to mass low skilled players. Seriously if you think it was built right I just despair at your need for near godmode weapons to complete content.

Edited by InfinitySerpent: 10/29/2015 7:25:32 PMso how exactly are they supposed to reward the player for their effort? give them a weaker weapon? sounds like a crappy practice to me. think borderlands, i dont think they give you worse weapons as you progress through the game now do they? by the time you reach end game content you should feel strong as hell and then when the next expansion comes out the game throws you for a loop by making you weak again this is how RPG games WORK!

Thing called balance.... Godmode is for low skilled scrubs.
