My first vog raid I didn't get anything but shards or energy besides found verdict til atheon. They made it this way so we have to play it every week atleast and grind out the raids for the stuff we need. If they handed it out like candy everyone would be done with ttk already til they drop the next update

  • You got shards and energy from vault as your guaranteed minimum rewards, which you could use to max out gear at the time. Those were at least semi useful drops compared to getting absolutely nothing or drops that are completely inferior to what you have.

  • Have to remember with the whole infusion thing there are exotics we haven't even discovered yet that'll come at 290 through quests only and will need to be infused so if you get something lower than what you got just save it for later

  • I get more reliable guns to infuse into exotic from exotic engrams. The current raid loot system is garbage at best as your more likely to get nothing then something even moderately useful(Yes I have gotten awesome drops form the raid but my regular raid team has gotten mostly c***.

  • That's everyone now bro bungie made the exotic drops at a chance for max so we wouldn't have to rely on just the raid to reach 320 light the point of the raid stuff is to get an awesome roll you like and infuse it to 320 but also getting a chance at 320 stiff in hard makes it to where you can reach the point to get 315 atleast to get the 320 gear but not guaranteed. Have to remember that halo 5 black ops 3 need for speed and fallout 4 are coming out all at once so they made the grind so people will still grind out destiny even with those games out

  • A grind is not a good way to keep your player base especially when it has a good chance of paying out absolutely nothing. I'm already sick of the poor systems like this and decent chunk of my friends list is already hoping over to halo 5 and an even larger chunk is ready for black ops 3 zombies or fallout 4. I wouldn't mind the poor drops if they were guaranteed drops but as it is right now the drop rate is garbage and the raid isn't rewarding.

  • you've already negated your own statement though, you did get SOMETHING. Yeah it may have been just shards but at least you needed those for when gear eventually did drop. Now you get literally NOTHING! the first time this happened to me at daughters I thought the game glitched and didn't give me rewards, then I found out this was an intended mechanic (what kind of dumbass -blam!-tard thought this was a good idea?) and was even more pissed!

  • That's only part of the problem though. Ya VoG was the same except on VoG the gear was always max light so the only way to stop people hitting max light in 2-3 was the stop chance. But now we have two factors preventing that from happening which makes the "forever 29" problem even worse than it was back then. Not only do I have to pray I get a drop. I also have to pray it isn't lower level than what I already have. Having guaranteed drops would make getting to max level probably just as hard as it was in vanilla instead of even harder than what was already too difficult/restricting.

  • Nothing worth using in raid. Found verdict at the time was on top for pvp for shotguns. I mean honestly though just to get to atheon first week vog dropped people spent 8 hrs on Templar alone and some only got shards or energy. Vog took almost the same amount of time with 2 bosses than the oryx raid did when it first dropped. I feel that this raid honestly gives more drops than vog ever did because atheon would only drop helm or weaps where oryx can drop amything

    Everyone hates the RNG for King's Fall, just because the first raid had similar problems doesn't mean it's right. "If they handed it out like candy" DUDE, SERIOUSLY. You run the BIGGEST RAID in DESTINY with COMPLEX MECHANICS, you should be GUARANTEED to get AT LEAST ONE THING. That's not "handing it out like candy", that's giving people what they EARNED.

  • This is how destiny has had so many players it's because they realized you have to grind and grind to get more and when you reach the top it takes longer and longer taking weeks at a time to get where you want when you're there boom next update gotta get even higher business strat my friend that's how they're able to keep this game going
