I don't think these encounters are difficult enough to warrant guaranteed loot.

Considering Oryx is one of the hardest boss fights and you still get trash from killing even him. At least have guaranteed "good" loot from him.

At least you have your own loot stream. I remember 72 man raids with 3 drops that you had to roll against everyone for. Destiny has one of the better loot systems I've experienced.
