Hello and welcome Guardians! This is your (for just a little bit more) Spooky neighborhood AnonPig and I'm here with a little theory on Preadyth. This was a question on my AMA and I felt it warranted it's own post. Let's begin. ....Preadyth sends, we'll call her.... Maya, Maya after Guardians. There's a special one, one who needs to be sent after the Vex. She thinks you're it, and watches, you are. She sends you after the Vex and then indirectly after Atheon. With Atheon dead the Vault is practically devoid off life. Kabr's fate is still unknown, but Preadyth is trapped. His ghost has gone through several timelines, seen many things past and future, and by finding it we get to see into the paradox. If we don't find the ghost then we find Preadyth's body, this confirms him as dead. Remember Schrodinger's cat? If you don't know what that is let me quickly explain. You put a cat in a box with food and poison, seal the box shut, and don't touch it. The cat is neither, and both, dead and alive. Until we open the box to reveal a live or dead cat it is both and neither. Sure, the cat most likely died, but until that's proven... You honestly can't say. SO! Preadyth's body remains unseen, this allows him to live! And we continue to the heart of the problem. By going into the future another timeline within the Vault, it's impossible to pinpoint because they're like layers of blankets laying flat on top of each other; nestled so closely together it's like they're one, we fight the Taken. Thus allowing Preadyth to live on, in a future timeline for that's when he leaves the Vault, where he finds a new friend. Preadyth sends, we'll call her.... Maya, Maya after Guardians....... .
