Ok, reality time...
NO GAME will keep people playing it for hours a day, every day, for 10 years.
People will leave and come back, I have taken multiple breaks myself to play other games, then come back for updates. I bet people will still be playing Destiny when the next Halo comes out too.
EDIT: You guys are right, I should not have said no one. But the vast majority of people play a variety of games of the course of years. There are some who have buckets installed into their chairs so they don't have to get up to poop.

You mean like Warcraft & Eve didn't keep thousands addicted, for 10 hours a day... every day, for 10 years... Must note, I have never played either game, I just know about the game addiction and damage caused by people excessively playing those games.

Except, their numbers (at least WoW) have been steadily declining and then show a massive boost when they release a new expansion. So technically, yes he's right to an extent

And I guarantee there are people out there (Plenty documented) who spent a decade of their life on those games, playing for hours each day... So no, "technically" he isn't right. Ambiguity for the win.

Maybe, but when Halo 5, Fallout 4, COD BLOPS 3 and RB6 Siege are released in the same year it´s going to be difficult to people to came back...

I didn't play for almost 2 months before Ttk came out. It's good to take a break occasionally.
