I'm not leaving Destiny but after yesterday playing Halo 5 from about 730am-10pm (breaks for breakfast/lunch/supper) with story details pulled in from prior games, novels, live actions, animated series, etc.... and no lag or errors the entire time, I'll probably only be around for some daily marks (took a short break to get marks yesterday) and some weekly reset stuff For a wheelman, there is a lot to be said about being behind the wheel of the new warthog - biggest downside to Destiny imho has always been the lack of good vehicles that Bungie used to know how to put in games. New scorpion is pretty sweet too. Tank beats everything...

It does look pretty good, but destiny is a different game, and I prefer to seperate the two instead of combining them.

I left for halo as well, and came back within an hour. That game is a pile of shit. I hope 343 gets shut down. Treyarch anyone?

Destiny will be fine. Halo isn't on the PS4 so our community will prevail.

1 ReplyI would say that it was an odd feeling when 75% of my friends list was online, but not on Destiny. I know quite a few purchased Halo, but didn't think there would be a mass exodus like this, even if temporary. Our planned raid never happened, so I did finish all 3 NFs, and some farming of calcified fragments on my 3rd toon. Hope to see my buddies on later :(

Nothing will kill destiny. All I heard last year was advanced warfare will kill destiny and it didn't. There's like 3000 people on that garbage game.

10 RepliesAs bad as fallout new Vegas sucked... I could see why people might skip it. It's all about preference-destiny still has some of the smoothest mechanics I think. Makes gameplay fun

6 RepliesI'm playing Halo, sure, but it isn't holding my attention like it used to. Arena isn't even close to Halo 2 or 3 multiplayer. The campaign is completely linear and has no 'reward' that is my fix in Destiny. Warzone is the main draw for me right now but with servers acting up constantly my experience (6 - 8 hours) has been lackluster so far.

3 RepliesHalo died when 343I took over. Reach was fun but then it got a 343 update that ruined it. I should have learned then and there, but I tried halo 4. It was honestly fun the only problem, I remember, was the boltshot being a oneshot. Then the update came and ruined everything again. Not to mention the others after that that made it even worse. Halo 5 might be fun in its own right but it has 343 backing it, which I'm not gonna trust. Though props to them on forge mode being what it should have been a long time ago. Though frankly halo was done after bungie left.

1 ReplyI've been playing halo 5. Got to the final mission. Was pumped to see how it ends. Aaannnddd it crashed. Then it crashed again. And a third time. So, I'm left wondering what happens next (please no one spoil it). So I'm back on to Destiny now. Or maybe I'll play Minecraft Story Mode episode 2 since that's out.

3 RepliesWhile the gameplay of arena looks pretty tight, it also looks, visually, like it lacks any kind of artistry. It seems incredibly mechanical and has the visual styling of a F2P game. I still want to play it but yeesh. None of the character of CE through Reach. I didn't bother with 4.
