Regardless of if you think this event is pay to win or not, the fact of the matter is that we are getting closer and closer to pay to win. First it was emotes, now you can skip a quest with silver.
You have the right to spend your money on whatever you want but we have seen this many times before in other games. If you don't see where this is going you are being very close minded.
His point was that we put a stop to this before it gets out of hand. I have seen multiple post where kids said they spend 40$ trying to get a specific mask. That's all bungie needs to justify micro transactions and include more in the future.
They know most reasonable adult gamers won't waste their money on these things but they know the younger gamers that mostly use their parents money will. And look at where the game is being directed towards the most now.... Teen rating....
Activision has been doing this for awhile now. Just look at the last couple call of duties.
