Honestly, if I hadn't had a PS3 and didn't already own all the games, maybe. I was a big fan of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver/Defiance and decided to try out Uncharted because they shared the same creative director. The first game had great voice acting, decent puzzles and a lot of cover based shooting, but I still preferred Tomb Raider in the genre. Uncharted 2 was absolutely fantastic. It's probably one of the best games I've played on the PS3. They made the combat more fluid, added some stealth mechanics, made the game feel more cinematic and created a second plot that was arguably better than the first. Uncharted 3 was a great game. It looked pretty, the combat was better than ever, the puzzles were creative and interesting, but the game lost something in it's presentation. I was also unenthusiastic about the ending. Having seen a lot of footage of the HD versions of the games, the 60FPS is nice, along with the improved lighting, but the games don't look that much better. However, the last two looked amazing to begin with, so it's hard to get a lot more out of them. The TLOU remaster suffered greatly from this. That said, if you've never played the Uncharted games and like the action/adventure/puzzle genre (tomb raider), they are great overall. So, I'd take the plunge and pick them up.
