It's simply out thinking the fight and the mechanics. This strategizing should be admired not shunned. If they really wanted us to kill knights and ogres before staggering Oryx or doing damage they would've made it a requirement very easily. They always design raids with enough room for people to experiment with different strategies. Same thing happened back with Crota hard.
