What's the normal way? The one that bungie told us to run or? Oh wait.. You mean the way that the players worked out? I haven't tried this method yet but anyone who calls it a "cheese" definitely has a screw loose.

Youre skipping mechanics. Kind of like the lame strat where u dont kill the first witch in one go. All the scrubs do it like that just like all the scrubs are too afraid to just snipe a knight and kill two acolytes

This is exactly how it went when Crota hard came out and everyone switched to middle strat.
