I don't think Ive seen a post on #offtopic discussing this topic. I am new here :P
Concealed carry for those wondering. Oh and when I say guns should be purchasable for hunting I am saying that a hunting license should be required in order to buy a gun.
-
So I should be able to hunt, but not shoot at inanimate targets?
-
What if I'm hunting humans?
-
Well the idea is that hopefully they are responsible and only use it for self defense. Unless you in Texas. In Texas we have daily gun fights for the fun of it. Hehe kidding.
-
Cause we can
-
Ban the spoons they make people fat Ban the pencils they cheat on tests Ban cars they run people over Ban pharmaceuticals they can kill people
-
I have the right to bare arms. I will wear a sleeveless T shirt anywhere and everywhere. Wedding? Cut off. Work party? Sleeveless Nike dri-fit Funeral? Swag tank top -blam!- the system.
and sleeves
-
The Right to bare arms meant that if the government tried to screw over the people the people could fight back Not have every HillBilly,Red Neck, Gangster, puppy dog and kitty cat Has to have a gun
-
2nd amendment made specifically for if a government becomes tyrannical (yeah were getting there) theres wasnt nearly as much -blam!- and stealing in the 1700s but those are also good modern reasons we should be allowed to carry
-
Putting this here
-
Gun handling is a right in the U.S. As such I think that it should be taught in schools and closely regulated as to concealed carry. This should be Federally regulated and all the states would have the same rulings. As it is now, is a mess of every state having different rules and the cluster -blam!- of making people convicted criminals in one state and while it would be perfectly legal in another state. California is famous for making criminals out of citizens.
-
I think people with mental illness should not have firearms.
-
If I was trapped in a room with America and Kim Jong-un and had to pick one to have a gun, I'd pick Kim Jong-un.
-
Yes, yes, and yes. People think CC owners commit crimes just because they carry guns, but what actually happens is that the people who illegally carry are the ones who cause a lot of crimes. Anyone intellectual enough would understand that the process you must go through to be able to carry legally usually separates the criminals and the good citizens. And I'd rather non-American's judge whether or not we need a ban or not. You worry about your own country and we'll worry about ours.
-
If the us would have had gun control from the beginning, we would not be having this problem, however, now, everyone has guns, so it will be nearly impossible to get them back, so they shouldn't take them back.
-
Dismantle mines, yes?
-
* gun control is holding the gun with both hands.
-
Should the second amendment protect the first [amendment]?

Edited by Strika10: 10/26/2015 4:07:59 PMCars kill people. Are Americans allowed to have cars? Knives kill people. Are Americans allowed to have knives? Chemicals kill people. Are Americans allowed to have chemicals? Cigarettes kill people. Are Americans allowed to have cigarettes? Animals kill people. Are Americans allowed to have animals? How long should I keep going? Actually, I will Alcohol kills people Obesity kills people Baseball bats kill people Hammers kill people Fire kills people Motorcycles kill people Sports kill people PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE Out of all the things I listed(all of them legal), how many of them do you think cause exponentially more deaths EVERY YEAR than guns? But yes, let's ban guns!!
-
Yes, through and through, yes. Concealed and open carry shouldn't scare anybody. Also, that whole Shall not be infringed part applies. Weapons aren't to fear.
-
About 80% of the 30% that voted "No" probably aren't even American lol
-
Ya know if anybody wonders why americans are so pissed off at other countries... shit like this. If you bloody wankers arn't american citizens then stfu.
-
Guns. Don't. Kill. People. My guns have never harmed anything. Living or inanimate. I however, have. With my guns. You can rest assured that if you approach me inside rule 20 and make it known to me consciously or subconsciously that you wish harm on me or mine, i will be the one charged with justifiable homicide, not my gun I carry. Always. Along with my gun, i have 46 other reasons my family will stay safe under my watch. No. My gun doesn't kill people. My gun is just a tool I am the weapon.
-
I love this argument. A hunting license should be required to buy a gun. Really a permit valid for 12 months should be a requirement for purchase of a fire arm? A whopping $25 piece of paper I can procure at Wal Mart from the guy they won't let sweep the pharmacy will fix gun crimes. You anti gunners know even less about hunting than you do about guns.
-
Guns are merely a means to an end. In case you didn't know, people have been killing each other since a caveman figured that he could break his neighbor's head with a rock. Wars have been fought for hundreds of years, mainly WITHOUT guns, and even if guns magically disappeared, MURDERERS WOULD STILL MURDER. Tl;dr, Guns aren't the problem, people are.
-
To hunt humans
-
I don't understand how guns are the issue. Guns are simply a means to an end. Murder and violence have been around ever since the first retard picked up a rock and smashed another retard with it. The fact that I have two hands just like he did shouldn't preclude me from owning any particular thing! I can kill/hurt/threaten just as many people with a car, a large fork, three angry dogs or a sharpened stick.
