Interesting in design, The hereafter is a Sniper with some interesting lore.
“Huddled at the mountain's base, we had no choice but to beat our ploughshares into swords once more.”
Once, we had peace.
This isn't a story about peace.
Then there was darkness, destruction, despair.
This isn't a story about those things either.
This story comes much later.
It's a story about what was here, after,
And what came next.
The Quote is a parody of a quote in the bible:
"And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."—Isaiah 2:3–4
In reference to the Grimoire card this is the saying that military technology was used to better civilian life, but then when the darkness came causing the collapse, but during the dark ages this weapon came into creation using salvage of the golden age. that explains the graph on the scope and the blinking antenna. The color scheme and recticle lead me to believe it is an early Hakke weapon, but until more is known of Hakke's origins nothing can be assumed. It is important to note that Dark Age weapons were built using poorly understood technology and this weapon signifies that well, having been built using Civilian technology.
Hope you enjoyed this little tidbit and have a great day.
Edit 1: routine cleaning.
