One of the most defeating feelings I experienced in the life of the game was this past week at the end of Iron Banner. I've been pretty good about leveling up my characters to level 5 consistently. This past week I was shocked to get kicked out at midnight as I had not seen any posting about the early shut down of the event by 2 hours. All I wanted was the ability to march back to the Tower and purchase what I could at my earned level and continue on in my journey. Why can't there be s grace period after the event is done, that a guardian can still have the option to go to the Lord Saladin to buy gear? Disneyland lets its customers shop an extra hour after their Park is closed! I think 15 minutes would be fair for the Iron Banner, if the event was closed and you still had some legendary marks in your pocket to spend. To be honest, as a full time worker of 50+ hours a week, I spend a decent amount of my little waking time playing - especially Iron Banner on 2 characters with PS4 & 1 character on Xbox1. It felt disrespectful of my time that I put into the game that I couldn't even get what I set out on my long journey to do... Especially because I barely received any drops on PS4. At times I wish I could call someone and Bungie and say, "C'mon man, I gave Bungie well over $100+ can't you throw me a bone once in awhile?" I'm new to MMO and I'm still struggling with this concept of giving a company so much money to have "access" to some cool in game gear / perks "if I'm good enough" or just plain lucky, but never promised. It can be offsetting at times. I have a great time with friends and have met some rad people, but other games that don't hide cool stuff from its patrons grows more appealing after incidences like this.
