God, you all saying "how could you delete an exotic without noticing" sound like a bunch of illiterates because it's clear none of you read his post. As for the OP, well, I would agree, given the exclusivity of the sword as a weapon, but that would require them putting in the ability for all quest bound weapons to be retrieved by repeating the quest. It's the reason the lock feature was put in. Sad to say, you'll just have learn from it. Lock any and all gear you don't want to delete.
