Xur should sell dismantled weaponry and armor every reset. The items recoverable are only the ones dismantled within that week. A lone item would be worth a combination of Marks, Strange Coins, Wormspore, and the resource used to level the weapon. Recoverable items will be costly so people are discouraged by the idea of farming it but recoverable because we are not responsible for little quirks like loading times between menu screens.
