Bungie doesn't want people dependent on the four primaries that have burns. I agree with them, look at the diversity of weapons people are using. Those random drops that have great rolls are treasured rather than thrown away just because it doesn't have a burn.

You just said putting burns on more weapons wouldn't work, I asked why and you gave a reason to put burns on more weapons.

Where in that did you read that? I said by putting burns you restrict options the players have.

Why would I use a primary when a burn is active if none of them had the element. Even making elements a perk so you have to choose it if for some reason you think one some types of guns should arbitrarily have no elements while others do
