how has anything about the enemies changed since Y1? They haven't, you were never bound to any one weapon. You CHOSE to only use burn weapons.And i know if your secondary or heavy matches the current enemies shield you pull it out to remove it. Then MAYBE switch back to Primary. Having A burner made no difference on strategy in Y1 and not having a burn ih y2 means secondary and heavy will be used twice as much because if you hit an enemy with the wrong burn it will take a min regardless of its attack lvl.

It did matter because if you were playing with a group of people, they get aggravated that you are not using a primary with a burn. I enjoy being free to use Red Death on a strike or in the raid. Once primaries with burns come, guns like Red Death, Jade Rabbit etc. become PVP only because everyone will expect you to use an elemental primary.

So basically you let others bully you in to using correct burners. Nightfalls haven't changed and neither have secondary or heavy weapons so they will continue to get aggravated at your red death when your fusion will do better. Burns in pvp do nothing as far as i know and if thts your only defense this conversation is pointless because i dont pvp.

I think the shields are weaker. But, when it's a tougher enemy with a shield, I use my special or heavy weapon. I have 3 1,000 Yard Stares, one for each burn. I think the cry for elemental primaries is just lazy. So many people want to play the game as fast as possible and get their loot. Why play? I don't get it.

So your secondary having a burn is ok but not you primary? You realize your own contradiction right?
