Wait, you make a poll, but you decide which is the right way to go?
Their reason is valid. Elemental primaries reduce variety of guns used. When you have elemental primaries in Nightfall with burns, you don't even need to use other weapons. Weapons without element were useless outside of PvP.
Sure, you got "less power" now, but for the sake of balance and variety, it's better.

So I can get a primary with element from buying an engram off xur, but I can't get one from completing a raid that has enemies two levels above me? Seems logical

I agree. I found this poll too be extremely biased due to the quotes in variety. I like our variety. To be honest I've been switching weapons a lot more than I used to (Damn you fate bringer!),but I digress; thanks for the excellent, intelligent, response. I'm glad to see there are still guardians like you out there.

Bias: prejudice in favor of or against one thing compared with another, usually in a way considered to be [b]unfair[/b]. This poll isn't fully biased because the opposition has a clear choice in my poll meaning the percentages represented are still very much accurate
