I think the exotic primaries should have gotten an element at least.

because some exotics suck, and others are great. for instance, im gonna enjoy ntte for general pve use if it had a elemental fix id have to farm forever trying to get one of each element you have no control over the element you want i dont want to have ot use a handcannon just cuz its the only fire element primary. its basically a HUGE RNG grind at taht point, or you use subpar weapons soley due to burn. id like to not feel punished for messing around with different weapons.

You have to farm the raids and ToO for elementals prior before they decided against adding them to y2. There isn't a difference except everyone has a shot at it now and not just those who can complete the raid or go 9-0 in trials.

non elemental primaries is simply less messy and less cause of grind and frustration along with people using what they want for the perks and the way the gun handles rather then "because it does solar"
