I don't understand why people need the elemental at all. Can't you just use your favorite gun and have specials to do the elemental. It makes sense to me it is more strategic to have your gun type and your roll, then have to pick a limited special weapon for the the bonus of burns.

I hated in POE going, oh fatebringer time. Oh word of crota, it's vex. Oh here comes hive let me use my Year 1 scout for solar. And we all know I could have used what I wanted but there is no denying that the best was to have the correct burn.
