It is more along the lines of them not being needed. If I am in a arc burn nf, and I have a 300 light fang, and my favorite gun at 300, I will choose fang 10/10 times, simply because of the advantage. I don't want to have to pick a primary because of uncontrollable benefits. I'd rather choose one I like, or that fits the situation. And the problem with being able to infuse any primary with an element is one, RNG, and two the simple fact that we will stop trying to experiment and try new things if we pick a gun and say that's it, I'm done. Of course, you could build up a large armory of elemental primaries, but at that point wouldnt it have just been easier to make kenetic more effective than right now? Elemental primaries were a cool gimmick, but I'd rather let us be as free with our choice as possible.

The idea I had makes kinetics more useful. I wish people read the stuff. Read the paragraph about my idea and tell me what you think

We have read it, we just don't agree with it. And, that's OK. I personally use raid weapons both in and out if the raid. Why, you may ask... because I like them. That's what this is all about, personal preference.

Yea, but with that it would make heavies and specials a bit more of a chore too. I like using chaperone, but with that kinda dam. reduction I would have to find another weapon of the correct element or suffer on.
