Best Black Ops Game? (COD)
What is the best game in the Black Ops series?

From a campaign perspective, the modern warfare series. Couldn't weigh in on multiplayer if I wanted to. BLOPS had it's moments and plot twists... But the flashback style of storytelling always made me feel like they didn't have time to make complete missions, so they just cut in and out of action sequences. Ultimately, Spec Ops: The Line probably takes the modern shooter award for best plot. Despite being yet another rehash of Heart of Darkness.

I loved WAW, BO1 was iffy, and BO2 was perfect. Not gonna vote for BO3, waiting until release to judge. :)

I don't know how 3 is, I haven't played it, but I liked BO2 the best in every way except Zombies. I think BO1 Zombies was the best.

3 RepliesWAW isn't part of Black Ops. But the best of 3arc. Of the CODBO games, 1st one is best. Last cod worth playing. Bo2 zombies was boring and broken and the pvp felt like a chore more than anything. Core should kill people like your in hardercore. MW3 and BO2 started this trend of fatal funnels and unimaginative level design and quick scoping little kids. Stack that with weapons that all felt the same and graphics (while still good) started to go down hill. Now you have Ghosts and advanced bullshit that looks and feels like something I'd pay 50 cents at the theatre to play for a few minutes. Bring back MW, MW2 and WaW (without effing with mechanics) and I'd buy it in a heartbeat
