So I've been seeing more negative posts again. People having problems in their life and ask for help here maybe because they have nowhere else to go. I see more religious posts shaming other religions again. I see posts about girl troubles and posts about boy troubles. I see posts about coming out to the family as gay, or coming out to your friends...Take a minute and step away from that stuff. In this day and age we worry too much, we never focus on the positive things at hand or the positive things you've done. Let's shift gears real fast and take a look at your personal achievements of the past or present. Make yourself feel good, brag all you want because you know what? You should feel proud about it, just like everyone else is proud of you. ^_^
When I was a sophomore in high school, I listened to EDM a lot. As a past time, I would create lyrics to go along with certain songs I found appealing. One day, a certain set of lyrics revealed a surprising message from a troubled friend. It was a girl living in Britain, and she recently struggled with relationship problems and was considering suicide for a while. She told me thanks, and said that I give her hope for the future, and that that was enough to live for. Apparently she'd been reading my lyrics and they changed her mind about what she was going to do, which was commit suicide. I'm personally proud of this and to this day, my goal is to make everyone happy. No one needs to go through stuff like that.
So go ahead and make yourself feel good, the world is watching! ^_^
Time to be arrogant :/ let's see how it feels
I almost single-handedly stopped my district from adopting Standards Based Grading/Common Core. I used freedom of the press and my considerable journalism clout to editorialize SBG, broke records on views for our site, used the momentum to petition the school board, and brought down the system. There are still teachers who thank me in the hallways, they had been silenced by the board until I published my story.

I convinced one of my friends not to commit suicide by telling her a joke. To this day I still tell jokes to everyone in hopes that they don't do the same

I think I've changed a few peoples' lives for the better. First off, my fiance. We met in freshman year of college, and we quickly rose to best friend status. We started dating just after I graduated (extra semester), and we got engaged over the summer. She was hoping to marry an ex, but he dumped her and left her devastated (one could even say depressed). She shuddered at the thought of marriage between that break up and our dating, and even then I wonder what she thought of marriage while we dated. But now she says she's very happy and very excited for our wedding next year. I met my best friend (Sam) in 4th grade, and we easily bonded. In 9th grade, I met another very good friend (Liam), and we bonded over Kingdom Hearts. I shortly introduced the two, and they too bonded easily. We spent a lot of time together after school, each with our own roles (Sam was our comic relief, Liam was our story teller, and I knew how to prepare popcorn like a boss). Even though college divided us (we all went to different states), we stayed in touch, and quickly united when we all returned home. Liam spent a lot of time with Sam and his family, and he's essentially become a part of the family. I invited one of my lifelong friends (Zombie) to join us for our weekly gathering (Man Date Wednesday) at my place, and he clicked with Sam and Liam better than I expected (Zombie didn't always do well in large social gatherings). Recently, they all began hanging out, and great times were had from what I've heard. Zombie also seems a lot happier than I've ever seen him (not to say that he was ever depressed). Now all three are going to be moving in together, and I couldn't be happier for them. And I wonder how things would have been for them had I not introduced them all.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
