So I guess I'm a little confused as to how exactly the blueprints work. Seemed like it was a pretty simple concept, but a year 2 exotic that I recently received didn't add itself to my blueprints for a future purchase if need be. Does anyone know why this is? Is this intended or a bug? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Which weapon/armor was it?

Also if you find a year 2 you wont get the year 1 variation. It only works if you get year 1 and it has a possible year 2 version.

Bungie said they would release old exotics over time into year 2

you should see it in your exotics are you looking on the right year tab? its for sure year 2 exotic? They are grayed if you unlocked but don't have currency enough to buy. Year 1 will all be grey and have red need discovery bar unless you discovered. Once year 1 is discovered you wont see red bar any more on mouse over. Then all you need is currency to buy it. if you find a year 1 and loot it from say POE you will be able to buy the year 2 version if there is one. This is nice for those players that didnt get exotics and now want to from year 1

I'm going to assume this a bug at the moment, but I think this is how most of the new exotics will be released. I'm thinking Xur might sell them, and then they might go into rotation, like from engrams and such.

What exotic was it that you received that didn't appear in the blueprints? Just curious since I have almost all the new exotics in ttk so far and haven't had this problem
