Trials of Osiris Ideas

So after playing a fair bit of Inferno Doubles these past few days I've had an idea that i'm sure many will disagree with but I thought I would throw it out in the wild and see what others might think. A selectable Inferno Trials variant separate from standard Trials. or as an alternate (though likely much less appealing) option... Disabling radar in default Trials. I know by this point most of you who have experienced the current state of Inferno Doubles are lighting your torches and searching for pitchforks but i'd like you to hear me out. One thing that has always kind of bothered me about Crucible is the radar, generally speaking, it promotes the idea of disregarding your visual map awareness in favor of just looking up at the pie and waiting to see any red marks, while more skilled players are able to combine radar and visual awareness to great effect, I find less gifted players developing a dependency on their radar and subsequently suffering from a drastic drop in performance when the radar is gone. In standard playlists I don't see the radar being an issue because it does help players who are unfamiliar with the map, at a skill disadvantage or just aren't overly familiar with PvP so that they're able to level the playing field a little more and lessen that skill gap between themselves and more seasoned players. However, Trials is designed to be a step above, the next level for the upper echelon of players, a skill based competition fought between organized fireteams of players confident in their abilities and ready to be put to the test against equal opponents. We all pretty much know this hasn't been the case thus far due to various reasons, however another behavior I noticed in Trials is something I feel also detracts from that spirit. Let's take Cauldron as our example, both teams spawn and run into their respective rooms, now after taking up positions you immediately begin to check your radar to see where your opponents have stacked up, what strategy they've taken, where they might be pushing you, you expect your radar to give you that information and vice versa, your opponents are given all the same information with their own radar, so without ever seeing a single one of your opponents you already know where to expect to see them. I feel this detracts from the overall experience and limits the engagement possibilities down to what they have been thus far, stay as a group and try to win with superior range and firepower or rush in and hope it somehow works out. By disabling the radar, team tactics, communication and coordination would play a much bigger role in the outcome of battle, relaying scouting information and planning engagement strategies would be fundamental to victory and work to promote and reward teamwork and communication, even in defeat I feel it would lead to more positive discussions about how to improve their strategies for the next round. That basically sums up my thoughts on the idea, I know it's a bit much to read so I genuinely appreciate it if you did read it all and I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this as well so I placed a poll and you can leave your comments as always. Thank you all for your time and thoughts.
