This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

Edited by ClenztheLenz: 10/23/2015 5:51:44 AMWeapon part are my bottleneck right now. Even when I try to hunt engrams for parts I am lucky if I get enough to unlock a couple nodes after an hour of farming. How about reducing the required amount to unlock nodes? Instead of 5 or 10 how about 1 or 2? Edited to add: Or how about increasing all old raid and PoE weapon and armor drops (keep that shit relevant) by 500% which can be dismantled and converted to motes via the speaker. Also have the gunsmith sell weapon parts. 5 motes for 20 parts.
