This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

The problem is, Bungie are idiots. They see that a few people have used parts, motes, coins etc to rank up, get other things etc and figure, lets stop the 5% of guys doing that, while -blam!-ing the other 95% of people that don't play 10 hours a day. It's like the entire design team are -blam!-ing morons. There are lots of easy options to solve pretty much every problem Destiny has, yet these numb nuts just continue to not listen (until it gets WAY out of hand) and make themselves look like dummies time and time again. The problem with not allowing us to advance is, we shouldn't be told how to play. People are getting bored, not because they are getting done with the content but because we've been playing the same damn game for a year!!! How is that hard to figure out? There is gonna be a big movement once the other AA games come out but it's been a good run, I for one will still sign on for weekelys but bungie sucked the fun out of the game. It pretty much takes me a week of playing to rank up 1 faction rep for each character..... so now you take away motes etc to make it even longer.... thanks -blam!-faces
