It depends on how quickly you complete the strike. I always dilly dally a little when I'm using coins. I guess I'm overly cautious about it tbh. But I get lots of exotic engrams. I'd say of the 50 3 of coins I bought last weak I got probably 12 engram drops. So if the coins were from nightfall i would feel like I cleaned up on my nightfall rewards.

Literally nothing from the nightfall this week... not very proud

Sorry that that happened to you, if you want to try something new, use one every other strike and see if it helps out. Maybe you just run strikes rather quickly.

Np, still, shame on Bungie for penalizing you, a good player who runs strikes quickly, as a solution to stop people exploiting something. Speechless.
