So I just realized this.... Oryx has two sisters, Savathuun and Xivu Arath. Oryx is the conqueror. (otherwise known as navigator) Savathuun is known as cunning. (strategy, trickery) And Xivu Arath is known as war. (tactical, strong) now on the flip side... Hunters go out ahead... and navigate. (conquer) Warlocks are intelligent. (strategic, unpredictable) Titans are powerful. (warlike) Our hunter mentor Cayde-6 used his offensive hunter personality to instrumentally defeat Oryx. I think that when the time comes, Ikora will be instrumental in Defeating Savathuun, and Zavala will be instrumental in defeating Xivu Arath. In order to defeat one of them, we must defeat them by forcing their worm to consume them. Oryx was defeated because we defeated his sword logic. Oryx's pact with the worm was that if he ever stopped conquering, he would be consumed. By continuously using his own weapons against him, we halted his "conquering" and his worm consumed him. To kill him there was three phases, we had to do the torn jumping puzzle (navigate) defeat the ogres that were supposed to consume our light, and use that light against oryx (cunning) and stop the doxology with brute force (war). All three of those things describe Oryx and his sisters, whom he killed to acquire their cunning and war sword logic's. He then brought them back to life by using that which he learned to destroy (bringing back Xivu Arath) and then trick (bringing back Savathuun). We defeated him with all three of his sword logic's. In the future, we will probably have Ikora out smarting and tricking Savathuun, which would cause her worm to consume her. And Zavala will go to war with Xivu Arath, and out strategize her, causing her worm to consume her. Maybe both at the same time! Trying to avenge Oryx! This also proves that Hunters are the best, because Cayde out conquered, tricked, and strategized Oryx! Just kidding, I don't want any master class arguments here. I just like Hunters best. I threw this together at work in my off time from everything I could remember from the books of sorrow and my observations in game. Let me know what you think!
