I agree. As someone who has ~1600 weapon parts, I see no need to lower the amounts obtained. The way I see it, the only reason they had to lower the amounts was to control the contributions to the factions. Honestly, the easy solution to that would be to increase the contribution amounts needed or to remove that option if that truly was their concern.

This. They should have required more parts for 25 rep. Or made the same amount of parts only gain you 5 or 10 rep.
