Okay, why?
It appear the only reason Bungie does this is due to a drought in content.

You kidding? There's loads of content. This keeps guardians searching and coming together to explore and figure out how and when they can figure out these secrets. It keeps me checking stuff on forums and checking daily missions. It's what destiny needed.

I'm still running around with a Year 1 Multi Tool because I can't find a good legendary scout with a high rate of fire. (Suros Dis43 next armsday). But damn, look how long it's been and I have grinded many hours away trying to find one. The above ='s lack of content

I've invested more time in that 40 bucks than I would in many as a full games that I've bought. I'm not disappointed
