I don't understand why they even did this? Can you turn in parts for rep? I thought they were just for upgrading weapons.

They also said we were going to be able to buy parts from the gunsmith but, nope changed their minds and then nerfed them. Thank you BungieVision!!

Yeah you can turn them infor rep, most of the people complaining wasted their parts on rep and Y1 re-rolls.
