Why are so many people saying 'no time to explain' was time gated? You run the paradox mission when it's the daily, find a secret area, get a ghost, talk to Lakshmi and she gives you a quest for 'no time to explain'
'First curse'
Reach rank 5 with the gunsmith
Sleeper simulant is the only exotic that was time gated...any others haven't been discovered yet

The first curse requires you to wait for the weekly reset at least twice. With NTTE you need to do paradox as the daily, then wait for it to come up as the daily again.
-
No time to explain requires you to wait until the next time paradox is the daily.
-
The questline for the First Curse has already been discovered. You have to wait two weeks for two armsdays during this quest.

Edited by Waybreaker: 10/22/2015 2:16:13 PMYeah, no. The Paradox thing was discovered a couple weeks ago. No Time To Explain was *not* available at the time Paradox's secret ending was discovered and completed. It did not appear till 2 weeks after the fact right after a patch in which likely added or otherwise activated it. For those of us that finished the Paradox secret when it was first discovered, the quest for No Time To Explain just magically appeared the other day in the same fashion as Sleeper Stimulant. And that's ignoring how it was timegated to specific days as DvzLionO pointed out. As for the others. We know there are still a number of exotic armours that are not obtainable yet and its not because they are secrets waiting to be discovered. Which is again, especially aggravating because Bungie never gave any indication they were not obtainable. Despite them sitting in the armory saying they drop in TTK activities and can be sold by Xur.

Quest obtainable only from a mission that can only be completed during a certain window of time = Timegate.
