Awesome topic! I agree the original piece was written as the traveler as an evil being and it has been reworked so we don't know if it is good or evil. I think MatPat's interpretation of the fallen hunting the traveler for revenge was different. My interpretation is that the fallan want the traveler for themselves which explains why they wont just destroy the freakin traveler. We are just standing in their way. And yes the hive are evil. Reading the calcified fragments grimoire is like reading the Bible for the hive. Its really interesting and cool but yes they are evil. And they also give great insight on the vex as well.....
