Persistent quest action icon (purple triangle) over the Tower
Greetings. I'm getting a persistent purple triangle over the Tower in the destination map notifying me that there is a quest action to complete, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to get rid of it. I don't recall exactly when it showed up, but I believe it was right around the time I started TTK. I've tried checking Abandoned Quests and there are none there. I've tried interacting with every NPC in the Tower and no one has anything for me or any quests to hand out. I've seen a few posts about this, but no resolution, and I have tried everything I've seen suggested. I'd like to get a sense of how many others are experiencing this issue and/or if it is a known issue or has been acknowledged by Bungie.

If you bought something for arms day can cause this to appear before arms day. Also, if you did not get a red bull and complete the red bull quest I believe this can glitch it to be there permanently. Should be fixed sooner or later

I think it is because I have the PvP quests.

2 RepliesI have it too. Not sure what the deal is, I've just been working quests until I figure it out. It could also be for the calcified fragments quest (where you have to get 45) just a thought anyway.

There is a quest in your inventory that has you doing something for someone in the tower that is not set in stone for where you can complete it. You can complete it in multiple places, but once you have, you will have to interact with someone in the tower. If you really want to find out exactly the quest that is doing it, abandon one quest at a time until the marker is gone.

it's there because you have an armsday order pending most likely. at least that's what i've read and think it is.

I only have this on my warlock (my main character) dont have it on my hunter or titan.

I've had this happen a couple times. I can't remember if it's still there cause I've started to ignore it. But same thing checked everywhere in the tower and nothing.
