Hey I'm a girl and my name is country Gir1305 and I have xbox360 and I would love to join sisterhood clan
-
All ladies are welcome to apply at the link above!
-
Good luck with your clan, but please refrain from using our thread to recruit for a different clan - we consider it rude.
-
You guys are already a big clan couldn't you help out a smaller clan get some members?
-
We've grown our clan through months of consistent work on our own recruitment thread here in the forums, as well as individual referrals from members and friends. You have those same tools available to you. If you're responding to an individual who is asking about clans, that makes total sense, but posting on another clan's recruitment thread is a different issue.
-
So that's a no in helping us out? I mean I don't see why not this is a destiny community we help each other move forward in game and on the forums.
-
I would also add that I get PM's from other clans asking how to get their numbers up and I do respond to them with useful advice and encouragement. Mixing clans is not how you build a strong community within your group. Find a focus. Know your audience. Get organized. Be polite. Know your limits. Set up trustworthy active admins to succeed. Stay in touch. Be kind. Be tough if you need to. These are the important things to bring in and keep members.
-
Instead of sending a private message to the clan founder, you post a recruitment thread within a recruitment thread. You have deviated from TnNikta's original point of it being rude to do so. Your passive aggressive methods of seeming like the offended party in this discussion are as inappropriate as your original efforts.
-
Mmm a little bump just to get us noticed?
-
Why we would want to do so when you've repeatedly disrespected our group, admins in our group, and now our group leader by continuing to ask that we do your work for you? If we did, which we won't, what exactly would we be bumping? A quick review of your posting history, along with a search of your group name shows that you haven't even started your own recruitment thread. I suggest you take the advice Maleficent gave you in her two posts. Start with the basics if you want to grow a clan. These tactics are not going to win you friends or allies - you need to be done here.
-
Well I technically didn't make it but the clan leader did it's Tbagging Oryx, I'm trying to spread the word as we speak, and you say this is a clan to keep girls from being harassed they'll be harassed either way I'm against harrasment but there is nothing you could do to keep it from happening harassment also happens to guys girls aren't the only ones "please pity us for being harassed all the time we can't defend ourselves because we're helpless" guys are just the same way guy abuses girl gets put in jail, girl abuses guy nothing happens.
-
So because we won't do what you want, we now deserve that diatribe? Tell me again why we should be inclined to do anything to help you?
-
I was nice at first but you people annoyed me and the only reason why you're big is because you have horny guys trying to get some to bump you guys up you guys will receive bumps but won't give out bumps? Very hypocritical
-
Perhaps you should reconsider the definition of hypocritical. It would be hypocritical of me to tell you you're being rude for recruiting on our recruitment thread, and then going to your recruitment thread and recruiting for our clan there. That hasn't happened. It's not hypocritical of us to thank people who help us on our own thread, as we are doing our own work here. Being nice doesn't entitle you to anything, as it's the right thing to do in all situations, and shouldn't be used as a manipulative tool against others, as you've tried to do here. We're not responsible for your behavior - only you are. Your choice to get annoyed and become overtly abusive toward us sounds like a pretty direct result of being an entitled person who thinks they should have whatever they want just because they want it. It sounds as if you need to learn that no means no. It'll be a helpful concept throughout the rest of your life.

My life is going pretty well I have great friends, a loving girlfriend that I've been with for quite awhile, I couldn't ask for more. But I am one of those type of people where when I'm not calm my mind goes blank and I act before I think and say things irrationally, since I've calmed down I'll leave this here in peace, but no offense on this question are you truly using big words because you're used to it? Or are you being professional?
-
Does it matter? Whether I'm used to it or not, is it somehow wrong to strive for the most professional communication possible? This may be an informal forum, but that's no reason to communicate poorly. Good luck out there.
-
I'm just saying not using big words isn't poor communication it's so people don't have to be confused and be like "What did she just say?" Not to be rude or anything but talking like that makes me and other people feel like you're talking down to us like we're on the bottom class and you're on an upper class "better than everyone" you could use big words less so it doesn't seem like you're smarter than everyone as people call "know it all" I had a great education I have wonderful grammar so I was able to understand your concept.

We put work into bringing in members and setting standards for how they treat each other. We also invest time and energy into matchmaking and maintaining events and chats for them. That is enough for us to keep busy and active without the addition of sponsoring other clans. Many of us are already in multiple clans and have made new friends in the sisterhood who run with our other groups and friends to show support outside the clan.
