I assumed he was evil from the beginning... He doesn't communicate. It doesn't make sense that he "stopped the darkness", because it's still here and hasn't been coming close to the city without him 'protecting' it. Made more sense that we stopped the traveller and now the ghosts are spying on the guardians - the only ones that can stop him after regaining consciousness. It would be an easy/lazy plot twist that would trip out some of the simple minded players... Exactly what I'd expect from the writers.

  • The Ghosts revived us to protect humanity and the Traveler. It doesn't communicate because it's in a sort of a coma; do you not see the damage it sustained? It was only its gift of Light that protected the small remnants of humanity

  • Assuming we are all the same character revived by the same ghost in a pile of cars... That's only one guardians story. In other words, the game shows you getting revived but it isn't EVERY guardians story... Theoretically anyways. And as for the damage... It could have been from us. To be clear... Either way I don't care. This story isn't exactly gripping...
