This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.

This is not a matter of [i]if[/i] adjustments are in order, it is a matter of [b]adjustments are needed[/b]. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.

Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

I agree. Picking up the game just before TTK i do not have a stash of parts. I think their needs to be more access to them as assessing weapons load outs is really best done once all perks are unlocked...just saying...

20 Repliesi can not figure out how people can be so low on parts. i have over 3500 and end each day with more than i started with. I infuse things all the time just to use up legendary marks so i dont hit 200 and waste any. By no means am i saying that they shouldn't put it back to how it was,just saying i personally dont understand how people are running out of them so quickly. when even after the patch i make enough and then some with all the infusing i do. only thing i can think of is that people running out are infusing everything they get. Slow down on the infusing for a little while and you should be able to get a decent stack again. I will still bump this though as there is really no reason to not get the same amount of parts as before and i know there are some in my clan that are low on parts also.

2 RepliesI had thousands. turned alot in for faction rep spent a few on some upgrades I didn't even want acting like some weapon part millionaire. Next thing I know I'm in the gutter, spending my time scouring the cosmodrome for an old hand cannon to dismantle, or hanging around the tower begging passing gardians for some spare parts so I can get the last upgrade on my auto rifle........

1 ReplyThe strange coin/mote nerf was a big mistake as well. Bungie thinks that "more grindy" automatically equates to people playing the game more, when in truth, it just makes the game much less rewarding and therefore, very boring. The reward system in the game at the moment is just terrible. Once you are high enough light level to do the raid, that's pretty much all there is to do besides pvping (which still has the worse reward system in the game). There need to be more end-game activities. Once you reach 300 light, make heroic strikes drop possible 300-310 legendaries. The chance could be small, but even if it were there, it would give people other things to do. Why not make T3 Court of Oryx drop 300-310 gear? It is a 300 light activity, the same as the Oryx fight, and 10 higher light than the other encounters of the normal raid. Remove T1 runes from the game and make it so you can just do them, then have Eris sell a level up type rune for glimmer. You could level it to T2 by doing 6 T1 bosses, then you could level it to T3 by doing 3 T2 bosses, then T3 could consume the item, making you have to start over. I'm already at a point where I pretty much just log in once a week to do 3 raids, give us some other halfway decent rewarding things to do please. Give us a REASON to grind, don't take reasons away...

2 RepliesThis is so bloody -blam!-ing simple to fix it. You wanna reduce the amount of weapon parts drop because some players have a ton of it? Fine. I'm completely ok with it. But what about players who have used up alot of parts for reforging and donated to faction? First you gave us options to spend the extras away and then you nerf the drop rate. Just allow gunsmith to sell 30 weapon parts for 10 legendary marks and this issue will be solved.

It really doesn't make ANY sense at all...obviously they did it to only increase the grind. The logic behind "will some players have a bunch " is ridiculous.

Yay they take away the nightfall xp buff. Then they take away weapon parts. Next it will be motes of like. Then amour materials. The only way to rank up your factions would be to buy heavy ammo just to exchange it for rep instead of using it for it purpose HEAVY AMMO
