This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.

This is not a matter of [i]if[/i] adjustments are in order, it is a matter of [b]adjustments are needed[/b]. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.

Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

No matter what I do strikes/raids or court I just seam to end up with armour engrams and I'm still short on armour materials. The new legendary money system sucks we just need a vender that sells materials for glimmer and the glimmer cap to be lifted slightly It's dead simple people who need mats buy them with glimmer the ones who don't need them spend there glimmer on what ever they like

I traded in all my weapon parts for dead orbit reputation lol! I thought armor materials were going to be used for weapons to like they mixed platesteel plating and weapons parts together. I was wrong

1 ReplyI NEVER reroll anything, and I have 8 weapon parts left. I'm gonna go into my vault and start dismantling year 1 exotics. I get a shard and parts. no reason to keep 'em. and if I need 'em, I can just go to my armory and re-buy for same engram and glimmer, which I have in abundance.

They will not fix it because it is part of their agenda. And that agenda is to prolong TTK as long as they can by making us do more, use more resources, spend more glimmer. In case many have not noticed, ammo drops are far worse now than they have ever been. Every strike I play feels like there's active juggler going on but it's not. Only in TTK have I started to purchase more primary ammo stock whereas before, I never had to. It's not too bad, but it is noticeable. This is the same for weapon parts. The only reason to give less weapon parts is to slow down our progress of weapon upgrades. And that's it. The slower we progress, the longer we play TTK.

Agreed , I've got so desperate my collection from year one has been getting dismantled I'll be so infuriated if they ever come up with some upgrade path for them like etheric light but make them usable in year 2!!! I love this game because it's enjoyable for the most part but man they love to make it even more of a grind!!! They introduce more ways to use and require weapon parts but nerf the amount we get from dismantling?! Great logic

I couldn't agree more the only explanation for reducing the amount of weapon parts received I was able to come up with is BungieVISION enforcing the grind on multiple different levels (...just in case?) the whole weapon part thing is imo unnecessary AND stupid

4 RepliesI rarely need any weapon parts. I usually know what I need instead of wasting them on every piece of [b]c[/b]rap I find. Be more intelligent about your spending and you'll be fine.

This x1000. I was consistently running between 300-400 weapon parts before patch. Now I have 26 sitting in my vault.

Ran into problems with weapon parts last night. I can't even level up a weapon to try out or I think I might want to keep let alone leveling up the weapons and exotics I know I'm going to keep as higher light level weapons drop for infusion.........Please fix this!

i have over 3000 weapon parts, i re rolled all the time. The reason why i think i have so much is i just non stopped grinded vanilla strikes for vanilla gear back in HoW
