This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

Seriously. I have less than 10 weapon parts on two characters. I understand they want you to be stuck in their game as long as possible but we did 10-15 heroic strikes one day and I swear to you I couldn't carry another armor engram and had three weapon engrams.

We need the gunsmith to sell them for marks.

Made a similar post last week . Of the almost 500 replies it was a landslide, deej , your reason is hollow and insulting. You always add , never reduce in game . I'm concerned this post as mine did will be seen as an irritant to a certain type of player and meddlesome to bungie . Saluted

Any player that is not using weapon parts is probably not actually playing the game. Bungie should look at their stats again.

bumpey
-
Just make weapon parts and amour parts exchangeable...everything else works this way *sigh* I have like 60 weapons parts but 1000+ armour parts...
-
I don't understand why they even did this? Can you turn in parts for rep? I thought they were just for upgrading weapons.
-
I will stop playing this game if they don't fix weapon parts. I shouldn't have to grind strikes for two hours to upgrade a single weapon.
-
I am bumping the -blam!- out of this
-
I'd be okay with it as long as infusing uses no weapon parts.
-
While the weapon part nerf is a problem, if you have a lot of glimmer, you can buy exotic blueprint at 2500 and an exotic shard. By destroying the exotic, you receive the exotic shard and some weapon part. It may be faster (and more boring) to farm for glimmer than weapon part that way.

I have materials in abundance... For a reason: This patch. I've been oggling the rep turn ins, but my spider senses have been telling me that I'm gonna need the abundance when the great draught comes... So I just keep on going, waiting for the game to never ever drop weapon parts again. Here's a solution to get some of us to spend our materials: PROMISE US THAT THERE WILL BE AN ABUNDANCE AND THAT I WONT HAVE TO SPEND THREE HOURS OUTSIDE A LOOT CAVE INORDER TO MAKE ONE SINGLE UPGRADE ON MY GEAR.
-
I use a bunch of weapon parts, armor materials and motes of light. I am almost always full on glimmer I never touch. Let's see if bungie can figure out what to do.....
-
I even tried buying exotics just to delete for weapon parts. Don't work
-
Just need a way to buy them.
-
I actually just ran out of weapon parts and its really frustrating. Thx bungie for lowering its drop rate <2
-
Just makes me play less. Their loss. Fallout 4 can't come soon enough
-
Bump! The weapon parts struggle is real!
-
Edited by Circadian Wolf: 10/22/2015 2:11:46 PMAgreed. I had over 1500 weapon parts before TTK was released. Now, without spending a single one on faction rep I'm down to about 200 across three characters.
-
Its a pitiful attempt to make the grind relevant during their competition releases during novementer
-
Bump.
-
Yeah taking weapons parts out of a game is actually like reducing worldwide food. Retard muted.
-
Some people eat ice cream other eat almost none... we will be closing down 100 ice cream factory's because of this... WTF bungie your slow in the head on this one
-
Man, I infuse so much that I didn't have enough parts before the nerf. Now I don't have nearly enough.
