This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

Yeah they just trying to give you a reason to run strikes, court of oryx. Those are the main source for engram drops that are so useless that you dismantle for parts. I guess we where upgrading to fast. (I.E burning through there expansion to quick, so instead of more content we get time gates, reduction in drops, a longer grind.) way to go bungie......
-
I'm on bungie's side. Learn to be smarter with your weapon parts usage and you won't run into this issue
-
-
They need to chill out with it and fix how you get strange cuz thats been a slowly dwindling sink hole for me. Reduce the amount of weapon parts?!? Wtf kinda idiocracy is this bungie??? Youve got glitches and bugs crawling out your ass crack and youre still fumbling the god damn economics like the seahawks season. Get your priorities straight
-
Bump.
-
The decreased weapons parts was a bad idea. It only furthers what bungie was trying to fix. Get one decent weapon....use only this weapon. I thought the point of increased vault space, and to an extent no longer re-rolling weapons perks was to lure us to build an arsenal of diversified weapons, especially since ttk weapons seem to be situational.

The people who only used Thorn, shotgun, and rocketlauncher are the people who have too many weapon parts. Its because they never used anything else. never rerolled or tried out different guns.
-
Bump!!!
-
I needs the parts. The precious parts. Mine. My own. My precious parts.
-
10000% ridiculous nerf. We need more weapon parts! We already grind marks. We grind materials. We grind strikes. Grind grind grind. No need to struggle to grind for weapon parts which is RNG
-
Agreed. Weapon parts did not need a nerf. I'm willing to be the reason they did it was to slow people down on faction rep gains for legendary gear and such. Which is shameful. The faction packages rarely have anything worthwhile anyhow. Nothing a few days of farming dailies couldn't get you. I hope to see them bring it back to how it was. People need their parts.

Bump -blam!-s sake give us weapon and armor parts instead of MOLDERING SHARDS

I agree, this was a terrible adjustment. Who the hell complained they had too many?? Anyone I know were complaining they didn't have enough. Now I spend glimmer at the gunsmith just to break down the legendaries on armsday to keep a supply going. I cant afford to level up those weapons, and try them out.
-
Must be nice to be those players that get perfect gear all the time and require almost no parts. O_o
-
nerfing weapon parts was a shameless way of prolonging the grind. burn out is going to hit players sooner
-
It's bungievision at work. Remember year 1 when the pointlessly nerfed everything systematically? They have not learned at all. Bullshit excuses for bullshit reasons.
-
I can't use half of my new weapons in TTK due to lack of weapon parts. In addition, a couple quest require weapon parts to advance to the next. Rhdhysbeudusheiehrjdbwieuhdwu
-
A ghost with a perk something like 'a chance to find more weapon parts when dismantling guns' perk would help a bit! I have virtually zero weapon parts!
-
-
Im amazed that there are people low on weapon parts. You cant walk 5 steps without getting blue engrams now. Most of the engrams I get are lower light than I want so I dismantle them. Are you people only getting really high light engrams that you want to keep or something?

Also why in the "Bleep" do we need weapon parts to buy things from Gunsmith, telemetry.. What killed my stock was rerolling weapons after the last DLC, which in turn Bungie made all my hard work obsolete. Wasted hundreds and maybe thousands of weapon parts on reforge for no reason
