This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

They are really annoying and doing it on purpose. But regardless they need to change it back bc they are pissing a lot of ppl off.
-
-
early on in Destiny I reached over 1000 weapon parts and it stayed above that ever since, at least until after the launch of TTK...I got down to as low as 4 weapon parts the yesterday!!!!
-
Bump!
-
Yeah...how does it make sense to punish the people actually using them? The people are aren't still won't and they'll still have a large stockpile. Those who actually want to properly use their guns are going to be even more limited.
-
It is simple: 1) The new meta encourages the use of multiple weapons and not just Fatebringer, Black Hammer and Gjallahorn; 2) You need weapon parts multiple times to infuse those weapons from the 280 or lower light they arrive at to 290+ to make them usable in the Nightfall, raid and Iron Banner; and 3) Because of this, nearly everyone is short on parts. The players who "use almost none" are probably running around with only 3-4 weapons that they use, which the new meta was designed to get away from. If Bungie wants us to use more than a handful of weapons, we need more parts.
-
I see my parts rapidly dwindling.. I'm scared guys...
-
It would be great if they add a materials conversion some where. I have so much worm spore I had to delete a stack of 200 in my vault. Would be great if we could convert that stuff to weapon parts or armour mats or what ever, and vice versa.
-
And i got a really big team and they want some really nice things and they better come with no strings weapon parts we need em all
-
They lowered weapon parts because any human with a fully functioning brain either had a stockpile or was super boosting factions. If you don't do those things and just can't upgrade weapons, you probably just suck at the game.

Edited by Nizzy 303: 10/22/2015 10:07:49 PMMy progression has ground to a halt because of a lack of weapons parts. Infusion, filling those bubbles is 5, exotics take 10 a slot! I can't even use or infuse Red Death(which is my most legal exotic) unless I burn a day breaking down rare weapon drops or worse, shitcanning almost every Armsday purchase just for the weapons parts. Ya, I'll get marks too, but marks are easy earning. A staple is more of a bitch to come by than a special currency. It's preposterous. Let us worry about our vault space. You more than doubled it for us, Bungie, and that is greatly appreciated, but I will divide what weapons are MY weapons and dismantle the ones that don't fit me when I'm really ready.
-
I don't understand this drought ... Weapon parts can be found on rare, common and legendary items too right ? I burnt like 500 in the start of ttk just to up my dead orbit rank. Yet I still have more than enough. I don't get it :(
-
i still have over 2,000 weapon parts after 100's of re-rolls last dlc. feelgoodman
-
I only have 4 weapon parts. In my 3 characters. Or Bungie give us a FREE option to get parts (like the materials, 20 for 10 marks) or we're -blam!-ed. They are more necessary than EVER
-
A loot based game shouldn't limit players when it comes to using gear they find. Now instead of trying new guns with various perk rolls, I immediately dismantle everything so I can infuse the guns I already have. The nerf was a backwards decision.
-
Bump, I'm farming for hours to level up 1 gun lately...
-
Before HoW I had hundreds of parts but then weapon rolling came into play and I spammed my parts into that to get the perfect rolls. But...wait, no more rolling in TTK and all my parts are gone, I have upgrades to go through but parts drop at a "Snow in July" in comparison to Vanilla and TDB sitting at a "Blizzard in January". I am a crack-head asking for some "change".
-
Read a lot of comments on this thread and it is clear this needs to be sorted. Tricked us to use loads of parts for rep, as we had so many, now nerf them into oblivion, not cool
-
Bump.
-
Bump. I'm always running out of weapon parts.
-
im retired,I play 6-12 hours a day, over 2200 hours played and as I sit here with less than 150 weapon parts to my name Ive realized that Im done. Grinding for rep/exotics/a coveted gun, I can understand, but weapon parts? Is this how I want to spend my gaming time...? I will play until november 10th,and hopefully by then both Fallout and No Mans Sky will both be out. Bungie has broken my will to play this game.
-
Edited by SplinteredSteel: 10/22/2015 9:23:20 PM"...Some players use a LOT of Parts, whereas others use almost none..." So Bungie lets apply this logic to say WORMSPORE. I've got 600 in my vault right now... 600 . I"m pretty sure a LOT of players are using almost none of this crap. However, I can go run the dreadnaught right this very second and score at least 50 wormspore without even fricken trying.

Bump!!

Please! I have less than 30 between all three characters
